Patrick Fontana (BAM) presented H-House UHPC facade elements with functional surfaces to 100 participants from the industry. The symposium was organized by the German InformationsZentrum Beton.

The symposium presented new methods in modern concrete technology. The control of the workability of flowable concrete was explained; infra-light concrete and highly ductile polymer fibre-reinforced concrete as well as façade elements made of ultra-high performance concrete with functional surfaces were introduced. The event was addressed to architects and engineers, building companies, public and private building owners, consultants and appraisers, who like to extent the knowledge of the progress in concrete technology.
